I'm Shay, the founder of Cobalt Decor. We specialize in a curated selection of vintage botanical posters, alongside picture frames and paper goods. Our Vintage collection is where it all began – each image is sourced from botanical archives worldwide and meticulously remastered by our team. These remarkable visuals were originally created by celebrated 19th-century artists, documenting the beauty of plants and animals during the dawn of photography, before color capture was feasible.
We carefully select each image, digitally restore its vibrancy, and present it as a stunning, high-quality poster.
Established in 2020, Cobalt Decor reflects my passion for design and nature, combined with a profound admiration for artwork that captured the natural world before the advent of modern photography.

Our Vintage collection is the first collection we made - each piece is sourced from botanical libraries around the world and meticulously remastered by our team. These captivating images were created by renowned 19th-century artists who documented the wonders of flora and fauna during the early days of photography when capturing color wasn't yet possible. Our team hand-selects each photo, digitally restores it to vibrancy, and presents it in a beautiful, handcrafted frame of solid wood and glass.
